Apologetics:

Bible:
  • How to Read the Bible effectively.  Click Here for the handout from a workshop I taught in 2010.  Click Here for my full lesson plan.  I didn't intend for this to be viewed by others when I wrote it, so I apologize for any shorthand or typos.
  • How Do We Know the Bible is God's Word?  Click Here for a handout with notes from a lesson I taught in 2010.  The evidence given goes from weakest to strongest.  However, the best evidence (the life and resurrection of Jesus) was not included in this.  I plan on teaching that in the future.
  • I preached a sermon that presents a lot of the information I laid out in How Do We Know the Bible is God's Word?  You can hear the sermon, entitled "How Firm is the Foundation?" by Clicking Here.
Jesus:
  • Is Jesus Fully God?  Click Here for a short article I wrote on this topic which is vital when speaking to Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons.

Homosexuality:
  • Click Here for an article about what the Bible has to say on this topic.  Check the comments for an in-depth discussion as well!
  • Click Here for an article I wrote about GLBT Suicide Awareness. You may need a Facebook account to view this one.

World Religions
  • Click Here for a power point presentation I made for a class in 2010 that displays the differences and similarities of major world religions and Christianity.
  • Click Here  for an article I wrote on the the major worldviews of Deism, Polytheism, Pantheism, Panentheism, and Theism.
Non-Mark Links:  I'll toss some links below to resources that I find helpful to me.  This is stuff I did not create.
  • Blue Letter Bible:  A good site for studying the Bible with options to view the original languages and free commentaries.
  • Mars Hill Sermons:  Great sermons from Pastor Mark Driscoll.
  • Pastor Dad: A great short book on being the spiritual leader of your home.
